Zeus, the head of the gods in ancient Greece, promised that the god or goddess who gave humanity the most precious gift would be the ruler of the newly established city. Hearing this news, Poseidon, the god of the sea, and Athena, the goddess of wisdom, enter into a great struggle. Poseidon, the majestic "Horse" that will take people to uncharted, distant lands; On the other hand, Athena creates the "Olive Tree" that will be the source of fertility and life for humanity for centuries. Only one of these gifts presented to people was more valuable, and the city accepted that Zeytin was truly a source of abundance. Thereupon, the newly established city in Athena's honor was named "Athens". In other words, the olive that we use almost everywhere in our lives today was sent to the earth as a gift.
